Monica Mendoza is a Latina-Filipina architectural designer from Southern California. She has a Master of Architecture II from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with a minor in Sustainable Environments.
Monica cites her experience in Southern California which includes a culture of diverse heritage, traditions of living, and interpretations of the American Dream. She engages with the fantastical traits of design localized in Southern California that brings storytelling to architecture. She continues to explore the dreams found in local vernacular and the community.
Recipient of the Harvard GSD Dean's Merit Award and the Cal Poly Morphosis Best Design Award.
